1907 Saint Gaudens $20 Double Eagle, RARE High Relief Issue, PCGS Certified AU
Certified by PCGS as AU Details, in our opinion as a long-time PCGS dealer more than a bit harsh. We have certainly seen coins that looked no better (and some certainly WORSE) in "normal" holders. Regardless, an attractive example of this iconic issue with butter yellow surfaces and NO damage, very common to this issue as the tall rims caught a lot of "flak". The relatively minor defect noted by PCGS saves you considerably versus other coins in this grade range, making this an important opportunity for someone looking for a reasonably priced example to represent the Type.
